That last post made me feel all festive, what with all that snow… so I dug out this old Christmas issue of Caledonia magazine that I did in 2001.
It features Scots actress, Laura Fraser. More excitingly though, the logo is printed with glitter ink! I wanted something to make the cover stand out on the news-stand, and our printers Acorn Web suggested silver foil. I asked about the glitter that greetings cards are printed with, and they sourced somewhere that could do the cover as a special finish.
What do you think? Did I go too far?
